Suur-Sõjamäe (Suur-Sõjamägi)
Greater military hill (vantage point, etc.) with its own motley collection of names: Suur-Sõjamehe (switching ‘mount’ for ‘man’, Große Weimarshofsche Straße after a former manor house and, at some time in the 19th C, Große Schweinsbergstraße! Big field (‘the great outdoors’ anyone?). Former farm name. See Välja.
Suurgildi (Suurgild)
Square, not street. Merchants’ guild (lit. big guild). Named in 1989 after the Suurgild building at Pikk 17.

Ski. Close to the Alpine slopes of Mustamäe.
